An-Naziat [Those who drag forth ]
| | | WaalnnaziAAati gharqan
| | By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence;
|
| | | Waalnnashitati nashtan
| | By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed);
|
| | | Waalssabihati sabhan
| | And by those who glide along (on errands of mercy),
|
| | | Faalssabiqati sabqan
| | Then press forward as in a race,
|
| | | Faalmudabbirati amran
| | Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord),
|
| | | Yawma tarjufu alrrajifatu
| | One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion,
|
| | | TatbaAAuha alrradifatu
| | Followed by oft-repeated (commotions):
|
| | | Quloobun yawma-ithin wajifatun
| | Hearts that Day will be in agitation;
|
| | | Absaruha khashiAAatun
| | Cast down will be (their owners') eyes.
|
| | | Yaqooloona a-inna lamardoodoona fee alhafirati
| | They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state?
|
| | | A-itha kunna AAithaman nakhiratan
| | "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?"
|
| | | Qaloo tilka ithan karratun khasiratun
| | They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss!"
|
| | | Fa-innama hiya zajratun wahidatun
| | But verily, it will be but a single (Compelling) Cry,
|
| | | Fa-itha hum bialssahirati
| | When, behold, they will be in the (full) awakening (to Judgment).
|
| | | Hal ataka hadeethu moosa
| | Has the story of Moses reached thee?
|
| | | Ith nadahu rabbuhu bialwadi almuqaddasi tuwan
| | Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:-
|
| | | Ithhab ila firAAawna innahu tagha
| | "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds:
|
| | | Faqul hal laka ila an tazakka
| | "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?-
|
| | | Waahdiyaka ila rabbika fatakhsha
| | "'And that I guide thee to thy Lord, so thou shouldst fear Him?'"
|
| | | Faarahu al-ayata alkubra
| | Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign.
|
| | | Fakaththaba waAAasa
| | But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance);
|
| | | Thumma adbara yasAAa
| | Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah).
|
| | | Fahashara fanada
| | Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation,
|
| | | Faqala ana rabbukumu al-aAAla
| | Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High".
|
| | | Faakhathahu Allahu nakala al-akhirati waal-oola
| | But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life.
|
| | | Inna fee thalika laAAibratan liman yakhsha
| | Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah).
|
| | | Aantum ashaddu khalqan ami alssamao banaha
| | What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it:
|
| | | RafaAAa samkaha fasawwaha
| | On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection.
|
| | | Waaghtasha laylaha waakhraja duhaha
| | Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light).
|
| | | Waal-arda baAAda thalika dahaha
| | And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse);
|
| | | Akhraja minha maaha wamarAAaha
| | He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture;
|
| | | Waaljibala arsaha
| | And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;-
|
| | | MataAAan lakum wali-anAAamikum
| | For use and convenience to you and your cattle.
|
| | | Fa-itha jaati alttammatu alkubra
| | Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),-
|
| | | Yawma yatathakkaru al-insanu ma saAAa
| | The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for,
|
| | | Waburrizati aljaheemu liman yara
| | And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,-
|
| | | Faamma man tagha
| | Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds,
|
| | | Waathara alhayata alddunya
| | And had preferred the life of this world,
|
| | | Fa-inna aljaheema hiya alma/wa
| | The Abode will be Hell-Fire;
|
| | | Waama man khafa maqama rabbihi wanaha alnnafsa AAani alhawa
| | And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires,
|
| | | Fa-inna aljannata hiya alma/wa
| | Their abode will be the Garden.
|
| | | Yas-aloonaka AAani alssaAAati ayyana mursaha
| | They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time?
|
| | | Feema anta min thikraha
| | Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof?
|
| | | Ila rabbika muntahaha
| | With thy Lord in the Limit fixed therefor.
|
| | | Innama anta munthiru man yakhshaha
| | Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it.
|
| | | Kaannahum yawma yarawnaha lam yalbathoo illa AAashiyyatan aw duhaha
| | The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn!
